TRIEDE
was established in 1977 as a consulting engineering
partnership. The company undertakes a wide variety of
civil engineering services, including feasibility
studies, architectural and structural planning and
design, process design, procurement coordination,
construction management and works supervision, expertise
and project evaluation.
In 1987 TRIEDE and PLANO Ltd., a consulting engineering
partnership with a range of services focused on
environmental fields as water engineering and waste
management, merged its operations and since then the
resulting group act under the leadership and name of
TRIEDE SA. This fusion increased TRIEDE's sensibility to
those environmental matters, but the core of the company
services remained in the area of Structural Design –
Buildings and Road Engineering (concept, detailed
design, expertise and project management).
TRIEDE has a permanent staff number around 50 consisting
of engineers and architects, technicians and
administrative personnel. Its flat and dynamic structure
is based on working teams assigned to each task/job,
permanently supported by key staff inside the company
and by external experts who work closely with it.
TRIEDE has a proven reputation as consulting engineers
in Portugal. The practice takes advantage of the
in-house CAD and computer technology ensuring maximum
effectiveness in project design, development, control
and coordination. The company is qualified by LNEC,
National Laboratory of Civil Engineering, Portugal, as
General Quality Manager in Construction.
